Flexible Circuits Technical Seminar - Londonderry

Insulectro hosted approximately 45 customers and OEM's at the Insulectro Londonderry facility on March 12, 2009 for a Technical Seminar focused on Flexible Circuit Technology. We had a very impressive turnout from our suppliers as well as customers and OEM's. Insulectro, DuPont, Isola, Pacothane and L.C.O.A. all participated in the presentations.

There were 8 subjects presented:

This was the first of five Insulectro seminars to be scheduled on this subject. We will be scheduling additional seminars in Chicago, Minneapolis, Mountain View and Lake Forest later this spring.

Kevin Miller was able to get a few of the speakers and customers into Insight, an OEM that manufactures thermal and infrared vision systems for military and commercial use. This gave us the opportunity to see DuPont materials in flexible printed circuits made by one of our Mountain View customers assembled inside the systems used by our military. We were all glad to participate in the tour of Insight before the seminars. Insight is our neighbor in Londonderry so that made the tour even more rewarding to see how our neighbor is helping our business and visa versa.

I want to thank everyone in Londonderry that helped prepare and host this seminar. I also want to thank all of the speakers who prepared the presentations. I also want to thank Chris Hunrath for pulling all of the suppliers together and keeping the focus on making this seminar a success.
