National Inside Sales Meeting

The Inside Sales Team gathered in Lake Forest last Friday and Saturday to attend the National Inside Sales Meeting facilitated by Jim Foley and David Klebba. The two days were packed with education sessions, strategic initiatives, goal setting and team building exercises. Dan Diesel made a great presentation on the roll out of the New Service Model and he also provided some nice “dance” moves on Saturday morning. Friday ended with a beach party, complete with perfect weather and a bonfire and Saturday ended with dinner and activities at Dave & Busters.

 During the meeting, Bryan Borosky announced the winners for the final hurdle of the Inside Sales Promo Contest. Both Team Diamonds (Diana St.Onge, Rachel Moreno and Sharon Newman) and Steel Magnolias (Donna Davis, Linda Brigham and Stan McCauley) met the final hurdle objectives and each member received a check in the amount of $1,500. Rachel Moreno had the distinction of the highest individual sales during the contest with total sales of $100,743.  Also to be recognized are all the members of the Materials and BAG team who helped make this contest a tremendous success. In total, $567,000 of slow moving inventory was sold. Outstanding!

 Many thanks go out to all the TAMs and support staff who stepped in to cover the busy phones while the meeting was in progress. I think you all gained a greater appreciation for the important role our Inside Sales Team plays in the company’s success.

 Compliments to Jim Foley, David Klebba and Bob Bosche for all the preparation and planning that went into making this event a great experience for all participants.
